SUSPENSION OF ALL CONGREGATIONAL PRAYERS AT THE MASJID FROM 5th NOVEMBER 2020

Asalaamu Alaikum,
We pray that this message reaches you in good health.
Due to the Government restrictions introduced in England, Southampton Medina Mosque Trust Ltd are required to suspend all congregational prayers at the Mosque with immediate effect.

The Mosque will remain open for individual prayers, you will need to wear facemasks, bring your own prayer mat, a bag for footwear and adhere to social distancing rules that are currently in place. Please note that wudu facilities will remain closed. During this Lock down, we humbly request all elderly and people with underlying health conditions to offer their prayers at home.

The Mosque will be open for 30 MINUTES ONLY for individual prayers during the following times.

FAJAR 6:00 TO 6.30AM
ZOHAR 1:00 TO 1:30PM
ASAR 3:00 TO 3:30PM
MAGHRIB – (5 minutes before Maghrib daily time and 25 minutes after)
ESHA – 7:00 TO 7:30PM

THE MOSQUE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR INDIVIDUAL PRAYER ON FRIDAY AT THE TIME OF JUMMAH. PLEASE OFFER YOUR ZOHAR PRAYERS AT HOME.

OUR IMAMS WILL BE DELIVERING THE JUMMAH TALK ON SOCIAL MEDIA FOR YOU TO WATCH IN YOUR HOMES.

We will be contacting parents of children in the Madrassa separately.
